Lemon-Ginger-Turmeric Tonic

Ingredients

1 large lemon, 2-inch ginger knob, 2-inch turmeric knob, raw honey, black pepper.

Directions

1. Juice the lemon (skin and all), a 2-inch knob of ginger and a 2-inch knob of turmeric with a juicer.

2. Add the ground pepper to activate the turmeric properties before storing in a glass jar for a week in your fridge.

 3. Add a couple of tablespoons of this tonic to your warm water with a teaspoon of raw honey. Drink first thing in the morning.

🍋 Drink this Lemon Ginger Turmeric tonic upon rising in the morning. It will cleanse your digestive organs, reduce inflammation, support your immune system and boost your digestive fire 🔥 for the day. 

🍋 Drink it at room temperature or add a little hot water, but never drink icy cold, it hinders digestion. 

🍋 If you do not have a juicer, simply use a ginger tea bag or grate some ginger root and add a 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder and a sprinkle of ground black pepper to activate the properties of turmeric.
