Ingredients

1 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk, 1 Tbs cacao powder (not cocoa!), 1 tsp cacao nibs, 1 tsp chia seeds, 1 tsp maca powder, 3 dates, 1 tsp vanilla extract.

Directions

1. Blend all ingredients in your high-speed blender (Vitamix or Blendtec).

2. Gently heat up in a pan.

Notes

This hot chocolate is like no other! Cacao is rich in iron and magnesium and mood enhancing. It is naturally sweetened with dates and is loaded with antioxidants and omega 3. It includes maca root, which is known to increase energy and libido. A perfect pick-me-up on a rainy or cold day.
