Ingredients

2 cups unsweetened milk (raw, almond, or coconut), 1 Tbs raw honey, 1 tsp turmeric (powder or grated root), 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp cardamom, pinch of black pepper.

Directions

1. Place milk and spices in a saucepan and heat up.

2. Turn off the heat.

3. Add in ghee and honey, stir well.

4. Pour into cups.

Notes

Turmeric is anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer, anti-bacterial and antimicrobial and improves circulation as it heats up and thins the blood. Cinnamon stimulates digestion and honey breaks down mucus, while ghee and cardamom calm the nervous system down.Black pepper activates the properties of turmeric. Never heat up honey as it becomes toxic. Make this milk part of your daily diet to boost your antioxidants levels and keep inflammation at bay. Perfect drink to prevent illness or nip a bug in the bud.
