Chocolate Cake (flourless)

4 oz of dark chocolate 70%, 1 stick of butter, 3/4 cup of brown sugar, 3 eggs, 1/2 cup of raw cacao.


1. Preheat oven at 375F. 

2. Butter an 8-inch pan or line with parchment paper. 

3. Melt chocolate with butter in a pan over simmering water until smooth. Remove from stove and whisk with sugar in a separate bowl. 

4. Add in eggs and whisk. 

5. Sift cacao powder. 

6. Bake for 25mn, let it cool. 

7. Place in a serving dish and dust with cacao powder.


There are many versions of flourless recipe. This recipe yields a rich and gooey cake and will satisfy your craving for strong chocolate, without the nasty ingredients in store-bought cakes. Cacao is high in antioxidants and magnesium to help combat stress, so you can eat in moderation without too much guilt! 

It is not the healthiest dessert since it contains dairy and sugar, but it is part of my 80%/20% rule :) Being healthy is about balance.
