1 Tbs rooibos loose tea, 1/2 inch of fresh sliced ginger, 5 cloves, 2 star-anise, 5 cardamom pods (crushed), 1 cinnamon stick, 8 black peppercorns.


1. Boil tea and spices in 3 cups of water for 10-15 minutes.

2. Strain and sip in a cup with your meals. You can add almond milk to it.


This Ayurvedic digestive tea will increase your agni (digestive fire). I make this tea everyday and drink it before my meals. No more digestive upset thanks to the warming spices and ginger! Gluten-free, Paleo, Vegan, Vegetarian.
