Ingredients

2 cups unsweetened almond milk, 2 medjool date, 1 tsp chia seeds or 1 Tbs almond butter, 1 tsp of adaptogenic powder of choice: maca (low energy, hormones, stress), ashwagandha (low energy, stress) or medicinal mushrooms (immunity, stress) powders, 1 tsp vanilla extract.

Directions

1. Place all ingredients in a high-speed blender.

2. Gently warm up in a small saucepan on the stove, stirring.

3. Breathe in, breathe out... and let the magic happen.

Notes

A stressful day calls for an adaptogenic latte! The warm nature of almond milk, vanilla and dates will soothe you, while the adaptogenic plant will help you handle stress more gracefully, boost your immunity and give you stabilised energy for the day. 

🍄 Medicinal mushrooms have adaptogenic properties to help us handle stress better, immune-boosting and anti-inflammatory properties, and are full of antioxidants. They help manage blood sugar, support brain health, cognition and the nervous system, and they increase energy and stamina. Amongst them, you will find chaga, reishi, shiitake, maitake, cordyceps, lion's mane, turkeytail. You can take them in supplement form such as capsules or powder and add it to your food/drinks 🍵
