Tropical smoothie 🍹 Smoothies are a great way to hydrate and cool our body down in summer, satisfy a sweet tooth or hold us until the next meal. Their antioxidants help us fight free radicals that cause aging and give us an energy boost anytime of day. I like to drink it mid-afternoon as a snack, and alternately before or after a workout with an added protein powder. I thaw the frozen fruit slightly before making it and don't recommend drinking it cold first thing in the morning, since it hinders your digestion (agni).
Inflammation in the guts can lead to all kinds of digestive and immune problems. The ingredients in this delicious smoothie will lower inflammation and gently heal the lining of your guts to enhance absorption of nutrients.
